What is Power and what do you do?

Power Home Remodeling is the nation’s largest and highest-rated exterior home remodeler. Specializing in windows, doors, roofing, siding, and solar, our aim is to help homeowners transform their most prized possession into a more beautiful, long-lasting, and energy-efficient living space. A space that is better for their families and the planet. Since 1992, our approach to become the nation’s top remodeler has been to create the happiest and most fulfilling workplace for our people. WHAT IS POWER VETERANS AND HOW DOES IT RELATE TO POWER?

In 2016, we noticed how successful the military community at Power is. This was the spark that became Power Veterans. Since then, we’ve heightened our focus on hiring veterans and mentoring them into leadership positions within the business. Fast-forward 5 years and our veteran population has grown from less than 1% to more than 10% of the business. What’s even more meaningful than our growth is the impact veterans make on the business and their fellow employees.

this seems too good to be true. What’s the catch?

We hear that a lot and we’re not surprised. In a world where employees are treated like pawns and hating spending time with your co-workers is commonplace, loving your colleagues and taking pride in your workplace is an anomaly.. That being said, we still encourage you to keep your spidey senses up and let us know if something about Power doesn’t sit right with you. Knowing that we’re not perfect and must constantly learn and evolve is what got us this far.

What if I’m not passionate about Home Remodeling?

Few of us were when we started. But if you’re passionate about being a part of a strong community and making a difference while constantly improving as a person, you’ll fit right in and the rest will fall into place.

Mattis said it best when he said “I didn’t much like mine fields. I don’t know if you like hanging windows…but man to be on a good team, that’s good stuff.”

Where do you have open positions?

We have territories spanning from Boston to Arizona (check out the community section to see some events from each one). Each of those territories hosts the main operations of the business; Customer Development, Consulting and Project Services. We also have a headquarters in Philadelphia that hosts all the supporting departments that make our engine run smooth. There you’ll find accounting, human resources, our people departments, business technology, our contact center, marketing and communications, special events, talent acquisition, facilities and anything else you’d need to run company our size.

How do i take the next step?

If you know someone who works at Power reach out to them and have them add you as a referral. Nearly half of our population is made up of people referred here by their friends. If you’re still in the military, look into SkillBridge programs that might be available to your command and feel free to ask us if you need help finding that information. We’ve built out an extensive training and on-boarding SkillBridge program that has propelled several veterans intro thriving careers.
